Our Tenets of Faith
- We believe in the infallible Word of God as given by the Holy Spirit.
- We believe in the Trinity Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, which are three distinct persons, but still are three in one in all things.
- We believe Jesus Christ is fully human and fully divine.
- We believe Jesus Christ was in the beginning with the Father and the Holy Spirit; came down from heaven to be born of the Virgin Mary; lived a sinless perfect life; was by His own will betrayed into the hands of sinners; crucified and died; was buried; Rose from the dead; ascended into heaven and today sits at the right hand of God to judge both the living and the dead as our High Priest, King, and Savior.
- We believe in the celebration of the two Sacraments Jesus commanded Holy Communion and Water Baptism. We believe Christ is present in the elements of Holy Communion and based on scripture, contain many hidden blessings in the elements. We believe water baptism is an outward sign of our inward surrender and regeneration to Christ as our personal Lord and Savior.
- We believe we are saved and justified by God’s unmerited grace through faith. We believe it is the Blood of Jesus that has redeemed us and set us free in liberty to be the children of God and serve Him all the days of our lives.
- We believe salvation only comes through a personal born again experience by inviting the Lord Jesus Christ into their heart.
- We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit; its nine gifts and nine fruits and further believe we are called to minister in these gifts as the Holy Spirit directs.
- We believe we are called to be a model of a First Century Church as recorded in the Acts of the Apostles and the seven principles recorded in Acts 2 :41-47.
- We believe Jesus Christ will rapture His church before what is called in church theology as “The Tribulation period.”
- We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ at which time he will establish His Millennial Kingdom and reign for 1000 years as stated in the book of Revelation.
- We believe in a new earth and heaven to be established under the new and everlasting kingdom of Jesus Christ as stated in the book of Revelation.
